David's obituary

In Remembrance of David Phillip Beeson

David P. Beeson passed away on August 30, 2024. David loved life. He valued everything about this world-skiing, playing golf with his friends, the camaraderie of his law school buddies, visiting National Parks, growing tomatoes, holidays, grilling and smoking meats for family and friends, weekly lunches with the guys, and he loved sports. David played on the Mudcats softball team in his younger days with law school buddies , attended Padre & Charger season games, and watched all the sports on TV from the major leagues and teams to the Little League World Series every August. Watching the Broncos was his highlight. Most of all, he loved his family: his wife, Kellie; his sister Beverly Herrington, brother-in-law David, nieces Loren Teague (Brad) and Stacey Ferris (Dave), great nephew Jake and great niece Katie; his sister Carol Kube, nephew Brett Kube, niece Audrey Fields (Kevin) and great niece Moira.  David especially loved and bragged about his extended family. Richard Beeson (Sheila) and family; Dale Beeson and family; Bill Beeson (Betsy) and family; Beth Baughn; Kim Beaman (David) and family; the entire Maroney clan, his daughter, Gracey Lacey, and many others.  His enthusiasm, humor, and upbeat nature will be missed.

After a difficult 2-year battle with cancer, David now golfs with his dad, Bernard Beeson, and enjoys his Uncle’s company and his Grandmother Meme’s food (William Waters Beeson & Lucille Phillips) along with his mom (Carolyn Ruth Cox), his Uncle Dee and Aunt Sarah (Dewitt Dale & Sarah Cox Beeson), William Waters Beeson Jr, George Bethel and Bethia Adams Cox, and his good friend, Jim Stuart.

From the family:  A big thank you to all of you that showered David with love and emotional support with cards, prayers, visits, lunch, text messages, flowers, gifts, and provided support in so many other ways.  The past two years were a very difficult, painful journey for him.
