Michael Kingsbury

Dave taught me a lot about just being a true friend. My experience with Dave was through music and seeing shows. That was one of his greatest joys in life. The last show we went to was the final Rush tour. We got seats on the floor and had a great time.

He got me into the band Dream Theater Their music reminds me of Dave and the great times we had talking about all things heavy metal

The first time I met Dave I was 13. We were at a mutual friends house in Bristol. We completely ignored the friend, sat down and listened to the entire Purple Rain album together - where Dave proceeded to tell me why a song was good or not good. It's one of my favorite memories of my life - 40 years later.

I just heard of Dave's passing. My condolences to Heather and his family. Dave was my sole employee when I had a solo practice in Middlebury. Prior to that, I became friends with Dave when he worked at Greg's Market in Middlebury. I had followed his career in the municipal world, but lost track of him after my move to Maine. He was kind, considerate, diligent and had an amazing work ethic.
