Background
With the only exception being his family, Dave's love and appreciation of music superseded all else. He remarked on more than one occasion how much he wished he had learned to play an instrument (guitar, of course) and how thrilled he was that his children had such wonderful opportunities where music was concerned. Contributions to the Dave Atherton Music Education Fund will be gathered then given to an organization that works to help fund music education in the state of Vermont.
