We are heartbroken by this sudden and tragic loss and appreciate the loving support of the many folks who knew and cared for Dave. For those who loved him, he loved you right back. He really loved people, especially those who showed him love back. Some of his most cherished memories were of working as a mentor for the youth of the Verde Valley. The youth now turned into young adults and valued members of our community. He would delight in knowing that the children he impacted become adults who continue forth living the dream. Carrying the torch and message of hope and a helping hand at the most critical moments life brings. He's at peace now and knows all, and will be back again. Perhaps in the form of a cat in the sun.
