Words cannot express our most deepest sympathy to the Addison family.

"David", a friend, neighbor, and confidant. (A man after God’s Own Heart)

“But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee” (1 Samuel 13:14 KJV).

On behalf of the faculty, staff, students, parents, and community of Florence County School District Four, we would like to express our immense sadness due to Mr. David Addison's untimely passing. His generosity knew no bounds as he never hesitated to be a blessing to others and freely gave. He was a renowned and devout businessman that was God-fearing and a selfless community leader. We also celebrate his incredible zest, zeal, and passion for life!

Most importantly, we acknowledge the endless unwavering love that he demonstrated and affectionally expressed toward his wife, children, grandchildren, and loved ones; may it always remain with them and provide comfort during this difficult time.

Thou, the arrival of death, is unknown, and it possesses the ability to occur in an instance, there is always an immeasurable amount of pain associated with it.

We can never fully understand the pain felt by anyone who has lost someone very dear to them, but as for us who remain, we can always share and offer our continued support through our love and prayers.

Humbly Submitted,

Florence County School District Four

David was a man of many skills and talents...all of which he freely shared. I became friends with David when he and Betty joined The Church of God on Sixth St. in Hartsville. My late wife and I would often ask him for advice on "some" home project we had in mind. David would not just give us advice, but he would come by and start and finish the project. When I would see him after church he would always jokingly ask if I had any projects I needed him to work on.

Mr. Addison was a gifted man, who served our community in many capacities. I will always remember his strong resolve , Faith, love of Family and Community Leadership. My condolences and continual prayers to his Family
My heartfelt condolences go out to the Addison Family. As a child and young boy I received many haircuts and words of wisdom. I knew Mr. David to be a great man and even through our meeting each other from time to time when I would come home to visit my family in Bishopville, he always had a kind demeanor and candid smile. Surely a great man!
