I will miss you so much Darryl, I remember the first day that I met you, you were inviting and caring! You had a huge impact & influence on so many people, "LOVE YOU BROTHER"! STAY COOL 😎 

I worked with Darryl and though I did not know him well he seemed like a very sweet person. He greeted me with a smile and a good morning. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

When i first entered treatment, i was hard headed and still had the street mentality. Darryl use to come to the facility i was in and talk with me. He always had positive speeches to give to me and tell me that i needed to get my head out my ass and to not lose what i had there. He is one of the reasons i stayed in treatment and changed my life. When the facility i was in started doing saturday meetings and i seen him again everything he had sat me down and spoke to me all came back and i missed those speeches he gave me because those talks meant alot to me. I will always miss you darryl. Love you brother. wish you had more time here and you could reach out to more people because you had something about you that the youth needed to hear and you spoke it well.
