Sometimes you chase dreams, you get caught in the moment with relentless desire to achieve them. Life isn't that simple, things don't work out the way you hope but if you can truly say you've walked the journey with amazing people around you having the best of times together, maybe you lived the dream without really knowing it at the time. I'm glad I lived it with you Danny Boy, endless memories, laughs and love. You'll be sorely missed my friend, I hoped we got the chance to meet again but I'll just hold on to your memories. Be strong Kelly & family he will leave a huge hole I know but I hope in time you'll all find some solace knowing he was with you for as long as he was. Riten
Lt. Tillwick was the only officer I ever had a long conversation with, on a mid watch, for a # of reasons that talk has always stuck with me.  Did change some thinking for sure.  Good guy, great officer.  I hope all of the Tillwick family is hanging in there.
Our deepest condolences to Jeff and BJ and Kelly and family.
I met Dan my first day at officer candidate school in Newport Rhode Island. We became instant friends and he always able to put a smile on everyone’s face, especially in difficult situations. We also got to share a house together in Groton Long Point for submarine school. Really going to miss his laugh, sarcastism and his special ability to make each day brighter. A great friend that will be missed by so many, even those that crossed his path so many years ago. Mark and Ann Chisam
We’ll miss you uncle Danny. Love always the Stewart family.

So very saddened by this news. Danny was my next door neighbor and my friend for many years. I drove him nuts! We were as opposite as two people could be but we found a nice balance in our friendship. He always told me that I was smart and begged me to take my studies more seriously. We use to study together in high school and while he was hitting the books, I was rummaging through Fred and Verna’s refrigerator for snacks. He taught me how to drive, he taught me algebra, and he taught me that there was more to life after high school. At 16, that was an invaluable gift. He was always wise beyond his years. My deepest sympathy to his family.
Dan was in incredibly kind, loving and generous man who loved fiercely, especially his Kelly. I'm gutted to hear of his passing.

Jacqui,

I am so incredibly sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. I remember visiting with him before we went on our trip to India, and it was obvious that he was a genuine and caring man with a deep love for his family. I really enjoyed getting to hang out with him.

Again, I am so terribly sorry. Please reach out if you need anything.

Sincerely,

Jason

I have so many fun memories with our Uncle Dan! You always showed us the best time and kept us laughing. Your family and my cousins are you in my thoughts.

Love, Kelsi Stewart

So many years have passed since we worked together and it’s been always our pleasure catching up with Dan at parties, running into him at lunch or just listening to  Kelly’s stories at work. Looking back … in the short time we worked together he has made such impact in our lives and my wife and I will always remember Dan and he is greatly missed.

Our sincere condolences to Kelly and  family.

I salute you my friend! 🫡

Sending thoughts, prayers and my condolences to Kelly and family. While it’s been years since Dan and I worked together, his wisdom made a positive impact on my life. As I was a mom to a toddler at the time, Dan would share parenting advice. With my toddler about to turn 20, every little nugget Dan shared was spot-on. I remain grateful for his perspective and kindness. RIP Dan.
We are praying for your family. I will always remember my Uncle Dan as the fun, super silly uncle! I have many memories of the best tickle sessions! He will be missed dearly.
We offer our sincerest condolences to Kelly for loss of her husband, to Trevor and Jacqui for the loss of their father, and to his family and others that Dan's life touched.  We  hope all find comfort through God's love, prayer and the legacy of his life.  John & Harriett

My deepest condolences.  I knew Dan for a long time going back to the Days growing up in Lake Pine in Medford and the years that followed.  My prayers are with all the family in these difficult times.

I am shocked and saddened at the news of Dan's sudden passing.  In the brief interactions that I had with Dan over the past year as a tenant, it was clear that he loved Kelly and his children.   He frequently talked about them in a caring way.
So sorry Kelly and family for your loss! I didn’t know Dan very well but from the few times I did interact with him, he was one of the nicest, helpful and caring people I’ve come across.  One time  when he was over to help with a handy project, he ran down the road to protect my dog from getting hit by a car and help me catch him when he got out and took off 😌🫶🏼❤️
