I interviewed Cynthia for her first job at the ADA. I remember telling our boss, "You NEED to hire this woman." She can do it all and do it well. And, of course, Cynthia did, She will be missed for her strong personality and her wonderful singing voice.
I was lucky enough to work with Cynthia and got a chance to see what a great person she was. I met Cynthia once back in 2018 when I visit the DC office. May God’s grace bring strength, comfort, and healing in this time of sorrow. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

How do you begin when you’ve known someone for so long. The news came like a storm. I couldn’t believe it. Cynthia was a woman who had it together. I would go to Cynthia and ask about so much and she always gave me that answer I was looking for. I’m going to ms our laughter together and u given me that look. The office won’t be the same for a long time. Cynthia I will miss you sooo much. I know you weren’t afraid to go home. The creator knows best. One thing for sure heaven just received another beautiful angle n the choir . I’m going to ms u girl! May peace and blessings be over your family. 😔🥲😇
I'm not sure how to start. I am saddened because I was scheduled to meet Cynthia before the Pandemic hit and it got postponed. Now she is with God and I can only feel joy for her ascension but sadness in that I didn't get a chance to meet her while here on earth, but I will see her one day. It was such a joy working with her and she always had the information that I needed and she shared any knowledge that she had with no problem.
When I arrived in DC in 2011, Cynthia was my first manager, and it didn't take long for me to realize that she was something special. Her open office door was truly a metaphor for how she approached the people in her life. She always made time for me, whether that was to answer a question, ask about my day, or offer a much needed laugh. And I know that went for every one of her colleagues, friends and family as well. You also couldn’t beat getting to catch her eye from across the room and conveying opinions through just a look.

Cynthia told me she was so grateful to God’s blessing of our bond, but I am the one who was truly blessed by her friendship. As we know, not every manager becomes and remains a friend. I will miss her sense of humor, brutal honesty, and genuine compassion for others. How truly blessed I was to have Cynthia in my life for almost ten years. She left us all too soon, but she never wavered in God’s plan for her life. I take comfort in knowing she has taken her rightful place as a member of His heavenly choir.
Cynthia will be truly missed! It was a pleasure working with her and the ADPAC team for close to 17 years. There’s no doubt she’s rejoicing with the Lord, because her faith was unwavering and steadfast! 💕

Cynthia was the beating heart of ADPAC, and kept Frank on the straight and narrow. She always knew what was coming next and always had our backs.

When I chose to have my ADA going-away party at a bar called Whitey’s, Cynthia joked with everyone that she had serious reservations about the name. She kept us in suspense about her atendance, but eventually her kind heart and team spirit overcame her concerns, and we all had a great time.

But Cynthia left us too soon - just like at Whitey’s. God Bless you and your family, Cynthia!
Remembering all those weekends sharing a room at the Public Affairs Conference and Washington Leadership Conference; arriving early on Saturday to prepare for what we knew was coming on Sunday afternoon. Sometimes it worked, sometimes not. In the early days, those weekends were also shared with Debbie Prietz. Good memories.
What a loss for the ADA and Taylor families. Anybody who has had the pleasure of meeting Cynthia will always remember what a genuine and funny person she was. You always knew Cynthia spoke from the heart and whatever the topic of conversation would be, you'd be the one to walk away smiling. Cynthia was a true gem and will be greatly missed.
There are so many things I loved about Cynthia. She had such a presence about her. You always knew she was in the room and the room just felt better when she was in it. Being present was her greatest gift to all of us- she ALWAYS had time for people. She listened in the most genuinely caring way. She never rushed anyone, and made you feel like the most important person in the world when you were talking to her. She had a tremendous sense of humor and was very funny. As wise as she was, she didn't take anything too seriously. I miss her laugh and her voice and am grateful to have had so much time with her. I am also comforted to know she wasn't afraid to go. As sad as this is, we know she is in the best place.

Cynthia rocking karaoke!
I don't know what was more surprising that she came to our dive bar or that she sang!
I'm so sorry about Cynthia. She was a great lady. So caring and had such a great faith, but she could also make you laugh! The ADA will miss her knowledge, empathy, and dedication.
