Coy will be truly missed by family & the community. Spent lots of time @ Triad Trophy Shop while serving as Director of Sports for JYL. We shared many, many laughs together.
He & Peggy's Trophies / Plaques / Ribbons / Awards put a smile on hundreds of young athletes faces over the years.
I was so saddened to hear that Coy passed away. He would always have a good joke, crackers and a cold drink for me when I would deliver to the shop. I would always get my trophies there for the sporting teams I coached. I really enjoyed spending time with Coy, and I will miss his laughter and conversation.
Dearest Peggy, I just got word of Coys passing. I'm so sorry to get that word. You both have been a great inspiration to me over the years and so good to me. I'm glad I got to stop in to see Coy recently and we laughed and talked for quite a while. Love you and you are in my prayers.
Dear Peggy and the whole Conklin family, we are so sorry for your loss. Coy was such a kind man with a good heart and a generous spirit. We will miss his friendly smile! I’m so sorry we cannot attend his celebration but Mom and I will see you as soon as we are back in town. Hugs to all.
So sorry to hear of Coy's passing after such a full life. He meant so much to my Dad Otis Ameen in the years after Mom's death when Dad needed companionship.
We are so sorry to hear about Coy! He was my client for many years but more a dear friend to me and my family. Kathryn loved coming over growing up and sitting in the swing. We also loved coming at Christmas! He will be missed as I thought of you both often and would see him when he came to the bank. Our prayers are with you all!
Coy was a kind and generous friend and neighbor for the past 22 years. We could not have had a better person just steps away from our home. He always had a smile and a kind word whenever we met. I just loved his sense of humor. He will truly be missed. He is now in a good place. Our thoughts and prayers are with Peggy,Jo,Tommy and the rest of the family.
