To My Beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ and to all those who knew CJ,

I praise God that CJ knew who his heavenly Father was and that as he has now gone to rest with his fathers, at the time of the resurrection he will be brought into eternity with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

To my beloved familia, please know that while I am regretfully unable to be there with you, my heart and prayers are very much with you and shall continue to be throughout this time.

May each of us find the embrace of Jesus as our comfort, relying on Him rather than upon our own strength and may our hearts and minds be poised to give Him glory in our suffering, that we might truly be lights in the darkness. May we not mourn for the time we did not have with CJ, but rather rejoice for the time we did have, knowing that every moment and every breath we each experience are but gifts from God that we do not deserve.

May the God of love and light dwell within our hearts that the world may look upon the strength they see shining through us and know that it is not from us that it comes but from God. May our Lord and King receive all the glory and praise for the life of CJ. We thank God that CJ will be received into eternal life, not because of his own works or righteousness, but because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

I pray that the peace that passes all understanding from the Holy Spirit will be with all of you. I love you all.

My son Andre met CJ at FIU at a time
when he was going thru a real hard time in his life. CJ was their as his brother to give him support and the friend he needed I am
sorry that I never thank him for what he did for my son. Like I told Andre we will see him again in heaven and I will thank him then. God Bless you
