One of my fondest childhood memories were my visits with Mr. and Mrs. Bussi in North Carolina. While we would go visit them, Mr. Bussi would always reminisce about his childhood living in Staten Island. Mrs. Bussi  was always so interested in my life and would remember all details that were given to her the previous year. We always had a good time just sitting and chatting with my mom, dad, and Mr. and Mrs. Bussi.
Those memories appeared so vivid when I got to spend time with all of you at Jackie and Ian‘s wedding last month. Some of those memories were shared and we had a few good laughs.
I couldn’t get over how each and every one of you had a little something that reminded me of Mrs. Bussi. Whether  it be a look or something that was said I always gave a double look because the resemblance was so strong.
The passing of Mrs. Bussi is a great loss and I am sad for each of you. However, I know Mr. Bussi  was standing there with open arms waiting for his love.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Mrs. Bussi’s soul to the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.
Love
Theresa and Brian Shuping (Smith)
