Personal note from Hap

Thank you to family and friends for visiting Collette in the last three years. It was a personal goal of mine that since she didn't have a husband or children that I would make sure that Collette was not alone with her struggle with Parkinson's. With our surprise birthday party for her celebrating her last birthday/Christmas we got all of our family out to celebrate with her...a big thank you guys. You'll probably always remember Collette crying when she saw her family that morning. To my wife Michele, thank you for buying Collette her sheets, towels and animal PJ's. And she loved your last minute cooking. And I'll never forget how you loved Collette and sat on the side of her bed while listening intently to her. She loved the attention you gave her...no one can do what you do with such caring love. Most of all thank you for supporting me too...I obviously needed you. And lastly, to Solange and Brigitte, Collette's dedicated friends and it's been said sisters. You two are unbelievable. When I texted you that Collette's condition was becoming dire, you both drove over from the OC to be with Collette. I swear to this day when you made contact with her she started to feel better. Such power in your love. I hope that everyone that hits the end of their lives. have friends like Solange and Brigitte...you are more than wonderful. More like angels (noticed I didn't say Dodgers)
