You never said i’m leaving. You never said goodbye. You always said “see ya later!” and “I will see you after school”! You were gone before i knew it...and only God knew why. A million times i needed you, a million times i cried. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life I loved you dearly, in death I live you still. In my heart you hold a place, that no one could ever fill. It broke my heart to lose you, but you didn’t go alone. For a part of me went with you, the day God took you home. ♥️🙏

Walk alongside me, dad and hold my little hand. I have so many things to learn that i don’t yet understand. Teach me things to keep me safe, from dangers every day. Show me how to do my best, at home, at school, at play. Every child needs a gentle hand, to guide them as they grow. So walk alongside me, dad. We have a long way to go. ♥️
