Violet Hautau
2007, Falls Church, VA, USA

My very first Sunday school teacher at Columbia. I always remember being so excited to walk in the door and see her smiling face. She truly made me feel so warm and welcome. As I got older, I remember running down from the third floor, and almost always running into Mr. and Mrs. Peacock, she would ask me how my week was going and what she could pray for. Little Violet never knew what to say.

If she asked me now, I would say pray for Mr. Peacock going through this hard time and know that so many people love and care for him.

Mrs. Peacock, you will be dearly missed, but having you as my first Sunday school teacher, I wouldn't change a thing. I will miss your bubbly personality and infectious smile.

Love,

Violet Hautau

I want to extend my condolences to Lin and the Peacock family. I enjoyed serving alongside you at Columbia Baptist Church. What wonderful memories your marriage, family life, and fostering experiences have provided to you over the years! With Blessings and Hugs, Kellye Sheehan

Dear Lin and Family,

My sincere condolences to all in the loss of a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and foster mother. Claudia was such an accomplished person and I only regret that I did not know her better. Lin, you chose a beautiful soulmate in Claudia, who walked beside you in life. May those wonderful memories sustain you for a lifetime until you meet our maker and reunite with her forever.

Always,

Glenda (McGuire) Sigg
