Lin and family, just found out that Claudia passed from this life to a life with our loving Father.  My heart is so heavy.   She was such an inspiration to me when I began working at the Marshals Service.  I learned so much from her and she will be sorely missed.  You and the family have my deepest condolences.  May God strengthen and keep you all.  Love Vicky Smith and family!!!!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽💕
Claudia, you were and are more special than I knew to so many people. We were in a bible study class together so I got to know just a little about how kind a personality you had. You will be welcomed in heaven by everyone for they already know what a great person you are. I wish we had more time for another bible study or gathering of some type. It was always so pleasant to be in your company.

Lin and Family,

Thinking of you. Praying for your peace and comfort during this difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Peacock's passing.  She was always extremely positive and brought a smile to my face each time I saw her.  I don't know of anyone that was more GIVING that Mrs. Peacock (and Mr. Peacock, too).  Extremely selfless lady in a very selfish world.  To have 3 of their own children, countless foster children, and be a pre-school Sunday School teacher is unreal.  She made a positive impact on my life and my kids lives.  I cannot say enough good things about Mrs. Peacock.  She will be greatly missed and my thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Peacock and the rest of the family.  May God Bless you all!
Claudia was a beautiful person,  she was a friend and very compassionate towards others.  I will miss her greatly.  She always greeted me with a smile and always so friendly and she always asked how I was doing and how our family was doing!!  She truly had a gift for loving children and being a foster parent.  She always had a warm welcome greeting for our visitors an guests.  Thank you for being such a dear friend.  I will miss you!!❤️❤️
Claudia and l have been friends for over 66 years. We first met in1957 and quickly became best friends as children. We were part of each other’s families. She enriched my life tremendously. She will always be in my heart and l will cherish the many memories l have of her. She will be remembered for her boundless love and generosity. My heart breaks for Lin and all of her family. I find comfort in knowing she is with the Lord.

Sisters by marriage but family and friends forever.  My life has been forever blessed.  Until we meet again in heaven. You are greatly loved and missed.

Claudia was an amazing source of knowledge with the USMS--she always knew the how and why.  Few realize it was through her efforts that we have a complete listing of U.S. Marshals from 1789 to 1989, and I use this everyday.  I know it as "Claudia's Book."  What a wonderful person that all will miss!

Claudia was most helpful and patient with me when i was going thru the background process for nomination for US Marshal for the District of CT.

Talked with her on the phone numerous times and finally met her along with my wife when I visited USMS Headquarters in DC.  Always most gracious and professional.  With her guidance, made a difficult process look simple

Thank you for all you did in helping me attain the coveted law enforcement position.

I met Claudia at the Justice Department.  She was an outstanding employee and dependable  coworker.
I often interacted with Claudia at the U.S. Marshals Service when I was assigned to the Public Affairs Office which frequently involved many projects with the Director's Office. Despite the busyness of the office, on every occasion, Claudia was the most professional, courteous and helpful person you could find anywhere. She always had a kind demeanor and calm spirit. It was special to have worked with her.  I would like to express our deepest sympathy to the Peacock family. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this time.

I meet Claudia for the first time in the emergency room at the VHC, after her daughter Cara broke her nose on a well-hit softball! She used her wonderful sense of humor to put me at ease after this incident. I truly admired her openning her home to many foster children. She raised three caring teachers I had the priviledge to work with over the next 20 years.

Lin and Family,

Joan and I are very sad to hear of Claudia's passing.  She was a great friend and colleague at the USMS. Her friendly and positive attitude made her a joy to work with.  We talked about her foster care, which always impressed me with her devotion to helping children in need.  She made the world a better place.

We are heart broken at the passing of this beautiful human being.  We first met Claudia when we had the honor of coaching their two daughters, Lauren and Cara, and Claudia was the team mother.  It did not take long for us to realize what a wonderfully special women she was.  This began a relationship that lasted to this day.  Visiting each others homes over the years;  watching children and grandchildren grow; and having the privilege of knowing and loving this family has been a blessing we have been honored to experience.  Our deepest condolences to Lin and the entire family.  We have all lost an amazing, caring, and loving, woman.  Rest in peace  Claudia. We love you.
