To know Chris was to know a friend. Chris was genuine and would help anyone that needed help. RIP
I met Chris (and Emily!) the summer that they interned in for a non profit Houston. Chris was a passionate about the gospel and the word truly ruled his life. He wasn’t a stuffy Christian though, haha! He had a great sense of humor and a great personality. I had the opportunity to see Chris and Emily last November during a trip to Houston. It was so fun to catch up and see them as a couple. I’m praying for his family and friends friends, he will be missed.
I met Chris and Emily at Ingram! They were the sweetest couple! Each Thursday, they brought coffee and donuts for the nurses and staff at the clinic. They walked through the door for the first appointment and always greeted us with a chipper “happy treat yo self Thursday” ❤️ That’s a perfect picture of Chris! He never once complained about his treatment and was positive throughout the fight. I’m sorry it had to end this way but I am glad he is no longer in pain. Prayers for Emily and his family!

I graduated from Lipscomb Academy with Chris! He was a good friend that always had a funny story or joke to share. Prayers for his wife and family. RIP
I worked with Christopher’s dad at Vandy. Christopher always reminded me of his dad. He was a smart young guy who always had a smile on his face! Prayers for the family!
I didn’t even realize that Chris was sick! I didn’t see any social media post about it but that make since because anyone that know him knows he deeply hated the over sharing on social media!

I worked for Chris at a non profit in Chicago and he was a just a genuine dude! He was always checkin in on us and caring for us. Praying going up for the family.
In response to "What did you learn from Christopher?"
Chris and Emily are the most selfless, kind, funny people I’ve ever had the honor of knowing. Chris was the smartest man I knew. Seriously, the man could answer any question you had and bring it down to a level that anyone could understand. He helped me understand some very complex theological ideas. I can’t imagine the loss that Emily is feeling without her other half. We are praying for you!
Prayers for the family! Though we rejoice that Chris is no longer in pain and will spend eternity with the Lord, we mourn the loss of one of the most kind and intelligent men I’ve ever met. Prayers for Chris’s new wife and family.
I hate to see this! Chris led my kids after school ministry in Chicago. He took my son to visit colleges, how to tie a tie, and modeled how to respect a woman. Most importantly, Chris shared the gospel with my son. Praying for his family. He will be missed.
Chris was a beloved member of our church and will be greatly missed. My kids will miss their beloved Sunday school teacher who taught them to love the Word. Prayers for Emily and the family!
