Please accept my deepest condolences, in this difficult time. Chris was someone I considered a friend, we have known each other since the late 70's. Chris always had a warm smile and gentle handshake when our paths crossed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his beautiful family...ekosi

My deepest sympathies to the entire Lafontaine family. Losing the patriarch of the family is a devastating blow. My heart goes out to all of you at the very difficult time. I pray you find comfort in your memories and continue to hold one another up in the coming weeks and months. I know that your husband, dad, papa was greeted with much love and joy on the other side of the veil. I also know that he will continue to watch over all of you and you will feel his loving influence in your lives.

My sincere condolences to the Lafontaine family. Brother Lafontaine was a wonderful example to me, particularly as I served alongside him within the temple. He truly loved the Lord and demonstrated that through his relationships and his behavior.

My deepest condolences and much love to all of Chris' family. I was so honoured to work with him  on the Courtworker program, he was always so generous sharing his expertise, advice and time. I will always be grateful for his guidance and friendship.

To the Lafontaine family and friends, my sincerest condolences, you are so greatly loved and your papa was so proud of each of you. I had the good fortune to work with Chris for many years through the courtwork program and then as a facilitator with Public Safety. His friendship was enduring and he is one I consider a brother. Peace always.

Condolences to the family and friends. I worked with Chris and his father when I was the executive director of GDI. He was not only a dedicated person, he also had a lot of skills and knowledge. His work was admired by many. We will miss him but no doubt his legacy will be carried forward. Keith Goulet

I didn’t know Chris very well, but I met/worked with him on a few occasions as part of the facilitator cadre with Public Safety Canada. 

What impressed me most about Chris was that he was his own man. Chris was one of the most authentic people I have every met.

I really respected that.

I’m very sorry for his loved ones’ loss

My dear Loni and family I am so sorry to hear of Chris' passing.  He was a remarkable person who extended his friendship knowledge and guidance to many.  He never forgot to call and ask how my family was doing. And in his encouraging way he would tell me I knew what I needed to do.  So my friend Chris I wish you well on your journey home.  Until we meet again
