I’ve known Chris for 40+ years. So sad to hear this.

I am so glad I knew Chris and that we all had him right next door! Of course, I had a huge crush on him as a kid, but beyond that I knew he was simply a great person. On some visit to LI not too many years ago, he was on the porch at Margaret Blvd when we drove through town, and I was so happy to be able to jump out and say hello--his engaging and sincere spirit had not changed one bit. My heart is with all of you during this trying time. As you know, we lost John way too soon, too, and I know it is a painful experience. I hope your many fond memories and your love for each other will help sustain you.
