It is with a heavy heart and remembrance that we announce the passing of Christine Alice "Cricket" Slay, though she preferred the name "Chris". Born on October 17, 1938, Chris walked into the hands of God on July 30, 2025 surrounded by family, leaving behind a legacy of strength, resilience, and laughter.
Chris was a woman of great humor & brought joy to those around her. Her mind was sharp, and her stories about life …
