We all miss you Chet and your wonderful sense of humor and your readiness to help anyone in need. I'm sure you and Monte are entertaining all our relatives, that went ahead of you, with your quick wit humor and playing cards. You will forever be in our heart and minds.
Chet was a wonderful brother-in-law and friend of mine and my husband, Monte. I have known Chet from a very young age. We lived in towns only 14 miles apart in ND. I got to know him much better when he married my sister, Sandra. When he got out the service, he and Sandra with their new baby, Barry, came to Kirkland, Washington to live. In younger days, we were at each others home to play cards, also with other family members, almost every weekend for years. Chet had a great sense of humor and so did Monte, so they were our entertainment. He was a multi-talented man. He had a beautiful tenor voice. We both sang in the choir and several times we sang duets. He could fix about anything that needed fixing and make about anything new that he wanted and decided to do. He was a religious, kind, considerate, intelligent man. He will be missed greatly by me and all my children and also everyone whose lives he has touched and been a part of. Chet, you and Monte save Sandra and I a place at the card table. I love you.
