Chet Fetzer of Kirkland, WA died under the loving care of Evergreen Kirkland Hospice. He was born at St. Alexis Hospital at Bismarck North Dakota. He grew up in the small prairie town of Wing, ND. Having gone to school in Tuttle in his younger years, he attended Wing High School. In 1958 he met his future bride Sandra Schwindt in 1958. After graduating high school in 1959, Chet joined the US Air Force and served as an electronics technician. Chet was stationed in Texas, Biloxy MS, the Philippines, and Merced CA. Chet and Sandra married in 1963 and were blessed with a wonderful son Barry in Merced and a beautiful daughter Danielle, the apple of his eye, four years later. Chet and Sandra settled in Kirkland Washington in 1964 and he worked as an insurance investigator.

Chet was a true "Renaissance Man". He could play guitar, sing, draw and build or fix almost anything. He enjoyed singing in the church choir for most of his life He was a very talented wood worker and made grandfather clocks for family and friends. He was a very godly man and loved his Lord. He was also very kind, smart and witty. Chet leaves behind his loving and caring wife Sandra, his children, Barry (Judy), and Danielle, his loving grandchildren, Blake, Clayton, Jessica (Jesse), sister Jacki Kindred, brother Kirby (Barbara), in laws Shirly, Robert (Erma), Arley (Alvina), Marlys, Leo, Alex (Bonnie).
