As we remember ‘Cousin Chester’ today, I always remember how he supported all our family activities! Whether it was a family reunion, a trip to Vegas, a funeral/Homegoing, if it involved his Williams’ cousins, He was going to be there!! Miss you, Cousin Chester!!
Chester is my cousin on my grandfather's side of the Williams family. His father, Eugene, and my grandfather, Clint, were brothers. I got to know him better as our families lived in Compton, and we often got together for family events. However, even after Chester moved away, first to the Lancaster area, then to Stockton, he rarely missed a family event or occasion. Always loving and supportive, in his quiet way. He was truly a family man. We will truly miss 'Cousin Chester' as we lovingly called him! Our sincere prayers go to Peggy, Tanya, Debbie and Laurie, the grandchildren, and the Williams Family. We love y'all! Angela (Foster) & James Holland

You can tell a tree by the fruits it yields. Uncle Chester was a good strong man and the people he surrounded himself displayed that. The three beautiful daughters he raised and the beautiful grand children he loved and supported showed the type of man he was. Our love and prayers are with you all as you navigate through the loss of a strong beautiful soul. Here is a verse from the Holy Writings: Job 14:14, 15 - “If a man dies, can he live again? I will wait all the days of my compulsory service Until my relief comes. You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands”
He not only loved my Godmother he should it. Also even though we lived 3000 miles apart when I would visit I felt that love. If its possible hug and kiss my dad for me.😚😚
I’m going to miss my dear uncle such a beautiful spirit! All I keep thinking about is how whenever I saw him he asked about how’s Cynthia, Kyle, Robert and Rhyan always asking about us...writing this is making me cry...I really loved my uncle dearly. Johnny Guitar Watson, Hennessy and Cigars is uncle Chet ALL DAY. I remember playing one of his favorites “Lover Jones” by Johnny and instantly he started bobbing his head...I’ma miss my uncle.....
