I was so very sorry to hear about Charlyne's passing. She was such a happy and kind person. While I hadn’t seen her in many years it would be impossible to forget her infectious smile and cheery disposition. She was always upbeat!  I remember group trips with our college friends  to New Orleans and also to her lake house to boat around and water ski. She was a wonderful host, friend and kind soul. May God bless her and her memory.

This picture is from a fishin…
2022

This picture is from a fishing trip my husband and I went on with Charlyne and Dan last year.  She caught this fish and it was so big it did not even look real.  She loved it!  I loved Charlyne and miss her so much!  She had a heart of gold and I only had the blessing of knowing her for a few years, but felt like I had known her all of my life.  We planned to go on a girls trip to Dallas, but never had the chance.  She was a precious friend, one of the best I have ever had.  One of her cousins wrote that she never missed birthdays and special occasions for friends and that is so true.  She always put others before herself.   I stayed with her in the hospital the night of her surgery because I knew she would need things, but would not want to ask the hospital staff.  She felt bad that I stayed, but I reminded her that she deserved to be taken care of just like she cares for others.  She was a rare jewel, a beautiful soul.  I love you, Charlyne and miss you every day!

Love,

Aimee Hemmer
