Ms. Charlotte Nelson was born on July 23, 1948, in Brandon, Mississippi to the late Rev. Alfred and Mrs. Violet Nelson. She was the fifth of nine children. Two brothers (Alfred, Jr. and Timothy) preceded her in death. She attended elementary and high school at Holtzclaw School in Crystal Springs, Mississippi. …
