Skip's obituary

Charles William (Skip) Dillard, 70 passed away peacefully at home on April 12th, 2021 in La Marque, Texas. He was born November 26th, 1950 in Plainview, Texas to Wren and Flossie Dillard. Skip is survived by: his wife, Michele Dillard; daughters, Mica and Melissa; sons in law, Chris and Jared, brothers, Jerry, Jack, and Ken; sister, Janice and grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Daegan, Ellie, Caleb, Dylan, Bree and Charli as well as his devoted fur babies Jazzy and Maggie.

Skip was quickly loved and revered by everyone who he knew. He was known for his gentle nature, sense of humor and natural magnetism that drew all to him whether they be little ones who loved his jovial demeanor or friends and acquaintances that were drawn to his genuine kindness and wisdom.

Skip was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He enjoyed bass fishing, traveling, cruising in the convertible with his wife, and spending time with family and friends. He most loved to play dominoes and wahoo with his grandkids. Skip was a devoted Christian who believed that through God all could be achieved. We are confident he is in heaven fishing that heavenly lake for the big one that got away.
