Remember that time we were fishing at lake Conchas in New Mexico? I was about 7 yrs old and wanted to fish on the shore to catch crawdads..You were so frustrated because you wanted to teach me to bass fish on the boat. I told you that I found a giant bass under the rocks, so you let me go try to catch it on my own. I was so excited when I caught that bass on my fly bait that day. I drug it all the way up to camp and nursed it back to life in the cooler to show you. You told me that I did good and taught me in that moment that it was ok to take my own path. I love and miss you dad. ❤️🎣

So sorry. He will be missed by so many but remembered by so many.
Skip & I went out fishing,; early morning, no sun & freezing! I was so excited because I was fishing with my new fishing rod & reel Skip & Michele gave me for my bday. I was just learning how to use a "batecaster" & Skip wanted me to catch a fish bad! Like he always did for ANYONE on his boat. He told me where to cast & I would. Last cast was far! Freezing fingers & new rod dont mix! Rod & reel went as far as my bait! He never even cracked a smile 😂 He was already thinking, How am I gonna find that rod. He sat down & rigged his pole with the biggest weight he had & handed it to me! Cast it out let it hit bottom & reel in fast, let it drop some, reel in fast etc. And it worked! He never sd, but I bet he counted how many times it took! Ha! Skipper is the only person I have ever known to be right about everything. Because if he wasnt absolutely sure he was right, he didnt give his opinion. And he knew I felt that way about him.❤ I will forever miss my go to man when I needed advice about...just about everything. He filled my daddys shoes in July 1993. Love ya Skip!
Going to miss him playing Dominoes and his many many talks about all of life. Really loved to get to know him for just a short time but a lifetime full of great stories and wisdom
I'm sure it was at the parrot. John and skip eating crab legs
In response to "When was the last time you spent time with Skip?"
There were friends then best friends. Don't really know what made the difference but skip was a best friend. A brother from a different mother.
In response to "What made Skip different from most people you know?"
I am so sorry for the loss of skip. many great memories of us cousins growing up. Playing checkers dominoes and especially wahoo. He will be missed I can’t make it to the service.
