Sad to hear you're gone   long lost friend.  At Lincoln College I knew him as Bob.  Wish we had stayed in touch.

My deepest condolences to Lynn and the entire family. Chuck was a real trooper in his later years and always kept that sense of humor.   Chuck (I knew him as Bob) and I grew up together in Oshkosh, WI. We attended the Presbyterian Church, sang in the choir, and went to school together - Chuck being 2 years behind me.  Our parents were friends and I have many wonderful early memories of playing with Chuck (and his Dachshund) in the Summer and Winter.   More recently, Lynn & Chuck visited me in NYC several times and we share many early memories together.  Peace and may the fish always be biting.  Mary

Chuck was one of the sweetest men we knew and will be serious missed by us and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.  RIP our sweet friend.🩷

Lynn, I recall how your eyes would light up whenever you talked about Chuck - both in those early years of marriage and still as you progressed through the years.  The love you each had for one another was beautiful to watch.

I also recall going to visit your mother when she was in the hospital - her final days.  One evening, I walked into her room and there was Chuck - seated at her bedside, holding her hand. I watched as he lovingly spoke words of comfort to her - he was helping her pass into her next life.  I have to believe it was a glorious day in heaven January 22nd when your mom welcomed Chuck with a HUGE hug❤.  Love to you, Stew and Bethany.

We loved spending thanksgiving with you & Chuck.  Chuck was such a kind soul and we loved talking with him.  The world will be less bright without him.

Much love,

Steve & Mary Roman

My daughter Jeanette who worked at Essex Adult Day Care was the first one to tell me about this new very nice man that got along really well with everyone and liked Shawn (my husband and Jeanette’s father). Chuck was like warm sunshine and made the day a good day at the start. My daughter would share stories of how he was conducting business at Essex as though he was back in the working world and she was employed by him. He always brought smiles where ever he went. He will be missed.
Lynn, I am so so sorry for your loss. I remember how you absolutely beamed when you first met, and know how much you cherished the last 20 years. Please accept our deepest sympathies.
I will always remember Chuck's friendly smile  and friendly chats as he walked the neighborhood. He always had compliments and a positive outlook on life.  I will miss him dearly, but know God had other plans for Chuck in his heavenly kingdom.
Lynn, sorry for your loss.  Memories will live on in your heart forever.
Chuck's welcoming smile and genuine kindness will be deeply missed.  Meeting Chuck, Lynn, Sonny, (and Roxie) on our walks was a joy!  The way Lynn and Chuck looked at each other was pure love.  How lucky we all were to know Chuck.  Truly a very special man.
So sorry for your loss, my condolences to you & your family.
I was [ shocked  ] when I heard the news of Chuck's  passing.
