Charlene Delores (Carr) Wallace, 89, of Detroit, MI, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025. Born on December 11, 1935, in Caruthersville, MO, to Robert Lawrence and Josephine “Babe” Helen (Gilmore) Carr. Charlene was the second of ten siblings.
The family moved to Benton Harbor, where Charlene attended Benton Harbor High School, excelling academically and earning an all-state basketball title. She married Floyd I. Wallace in 1953, and …
