Catherine "Katie" Prendergast, 42, of Newport Beach, CA passed away suddenly from a massive stroke on January 31, 2023, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Catherine grew up in Centennial, CO., she then set her sight on California. She lived in Newport Beach where she enjoyed the beautiful beaches, sunsets and many wonderful friends. She worked at connecting people for all of her years and enjoyed her friends, arranging flowers, gourmet cooking, charity events, and living fully each and every day.   Catherine will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Catherine was predeceased by her grandparents, three uncles, an aunt, many dear friends, and her beloved Tulo.   She is survived by her parents, Janie and Pat, her brother and his family, Tom, Rosalie, and Nora, her sisters, Lauren, and Crystal, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and thousands of friends.  We request all of Catherine’s loved ones to join us in celebrating her beautiful life at Hudson Gardens in Littleton, CO on March 25 at 10:30 in the "we hope" beautiful Colorado morning.  We know, for Catherine, this is a bit too early.  And promise she will figure out a way to be just "a little" late.

We will have a celebration service in the Log Cabin beginning at 11:00am, some light refreshments, and the chance to wander these beautiful gardens for as long as you wish.  While Catherine could dress the part, she would ask that you come comfortable knowing you are loved for being present on this day of celebration.
