Background
As many of you know, while Katie showered her friends with all of her talents, she suffered from her own demons. The Phoenix-Denver is an organization that provides many opportunities for people who battle addictions to come together. Their only price for participating is 48 hours of sobriety. Working out was Katie's safe space where she could be in control and get release from her addiction. Along her journey, Katie found passion and dedication in finding new, healthier ways to move people away from their disease. In lieu of flowers we ask that you please consider donating on her behalf to the Phoenix where health, community and providing a judgement free space is their foundation.
