I believe that in every child/students life - there is "that one" teacher that makes a lifelong impression. For my son, Tyler - and me - you were "that one". I was so sad to learn of your passing. I will treasure the chats, the laughter and the friendship we established so many years ago - all for the love of my son. Thank you for being "that one", Kitty - you will be remembered and missed. May God wrap his loving arms around you and bless you always.
Reflecting on my friend, Kitty, and missing her, especially today as I am reminded of the anniversary of her passing. She will always be in my heart and memory.
What sad news to hear that we lost our wonderful Kitty. She sang with our Harmony Singers for well over 20 years, enhancing our tenor section with her sweet voice and lovely smile. Condolences to Tom and her family on this terrible loss. We will certainly miss her.
I am so sad to hear about Kitty’s passing today. She was a wonderful person and beautiful tenor in our community chorus. My sincere condolences to her family and loved ones. May she rest in peace.
So sad to hear about Kitty’s passing. She was an amazing person. She was one of many friends at Harmony Singers of Wayne. I loved singing with her and the other members of the Tenor section. She will be missed. My prayers go out to her family.
I just heard of Kitty's passing. I sang with her for many years in the Harmony Singers of Wayne, NJ and considered her my friend. She was a lovely person and will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace. Charlene Dorman President, Harmony Singers of Wayne NJ
I just learned from a mutual childhood friend, Jim Benjamin, of Kitty's passing. I was one of Kitty's teenage neighborhood friends in Haskell where the Bennett house, the site of many impromptu pizza, dance, and pool (a game at which Kitty excelled), parties, was always open to Kitty's many friends. Kitty's Dad, Earl, went so far as to give some us weekend/summer jobs at Haskell's Anchor Casino Restaurant where he was the chef. Looking back now, those few high school years were made magical for so many of us by Kitty and her family. I moved away after high school (the Army), lost contact with Kitty and too many others from those years, and never returned to NJ except for brief family visits.
Kitty was a wonderful girl then and, I'm not surprised to see from the many tributes here, was an equally wonderful woman who lived a rewarding and happy life. May God bless and keep her and her family.
Kitty had a great sense of humor, was smart, witty, talented and kind. I was honored to be her colleague at E. G. Hewitt School. Our loss, heaven’s gain. ..Eileen Specia
I am still in a state of shock. I loved Ms. Kitty and so did my wonderful grandparents Matt and Carol. She was a gorgeous lady both inside and out. God bless you, Ms. Kitty.
