This 2012 video features Catherine discussing her then-role as a magazine editor. She's totally natural and fun and, since it is unedited and she is being interviewed by professional colleagues who are close friends, it has many moments that appear to be "off camera." There are also many insights that magazine people will appreciate, because she was a stellar editor with a gift for humor while being extraordinarily dedicated to high-quality work. The 2nd annual Catherine Pierre Remembrance Gathering will take place this coming Saturday, Oct. 25, 1-4pm, at the Anchorage Marina Boater's Lounge, 2501 Boston St., Baltimore. We'll share stories of Catherine while we spend some time together remembering how wonderfully she touched our lives! Afterwards, we'll head up to Patterson Park, where the annual Lantern Parade festivities start at 4pm. One of the last simple pleasures Catherine and I enjoyed together was going to the 2023 Lantern Parade - which, appropriately, doubles as Dia de los Muertos, the joyful celebration of the good ancestors, like Catherine!
