My Mother's mom Doris, was a very elegant 1950s almost stepford wife, with fancy china, silver, chandeliers, perfect diction, and handwriting. My mother took ballet as a child and was taught to be graceful and lady-like at all times. Conversely one of my dad's favorite stories of her (He was an avid hot rod drag racer in the early 1960s) one time when he was busy doing something he came home and went out looking for her, she had taken his favorite car out and drag raced in his place, he was not happy, but it was quite funny.

Carol S. Kiersey (Coe), 75, of Hood River, Oregon, passed away on January 1, 2021, after a brief battle with Covid 19.

Carol was born on January 8, 1945, to Clifford Coe and Doris Coe (Kuykendall), in Portland, Oregon.
At approximately 4 years old Carol suffered from Rheumatic Fever and was bedridden for approximately a year. This illness may have contributed to a lifetime of mental illness (Bipolar schizoid affective disorder).
