Obituary
Carlos Alberto Obregon born in Havana, Cuba, Sept.14, 1959, to Fernando & Maria Machado Obregon. His parents were tobacco plantation owners in Cuba and mother was a Professor at the University in Havana. At a young age, Carlos and parents emigrated to the US during the Cuban revolution. A unique story of Carlos is that he witnessed the assassination of JFK in Dallas as he was a small boy watching the Presidential parade at that …

Carlos always said he'd want to be cremated and his ashes spread in the ocean, where he spent his most favorite moments. We plan to spread his ashes in his 3 favorite places: Key West, so his ashes can make their way to Cuba where he was born; South Padre Island, where he met Tammie and lived for a big part of his life; and Cabo San Lucas, where he and Tammie were married and he went on his last fishing trip with his daughter Kira. We plan to do this on his 3 most special holidays--Fathers' Day, his birthday, and Thanksgiving.
