So very sorry for your loss. He was a great person to get BBQ from. I have bought plenty of ribs and pork from him and enjoyed his personality.

Gone too soon but God had a great place for him. God bless the family.

Alan and I are devastated to hear about Cameron. He always told Alan that he was his favorite teacher ever. He loved reading the book Dove, and he told me it is the reason he decided to travel. We will miss seeing his sweet face at Smokin' D's. We are so sorry for your loss.

Oh Cameron, my heart hurts so much hearing you are no longer with us. You were always such a bright beam of joy to everyone around you, those amazing blue eyes, your smile was truly contagious and your voice was always so comforting. Always making everyone laugh. Just a genuine soul, a great friend and always sure to put a smile on the faces of everyone around you. I remember what felt like forever ago, you told me that you and your father were opening up a bbq shop and you were so excited!! We didn’t talk all that much after high school but every time I came into the shop you gave me the biggest and best hug, truly the kind of hug that felt like it heals people and we talked like no time had passed. I will miss that. I will miss you.

Prayers and condolences heading your way sir. Cameron was a beautiful soul and always took good care of us at your down town location! Been missing him for a while now. He was heavy on my mind the last few weeks. Now I know why. 🙏🏼💞🙏🏼

Prayers for your families aching hearts. Maybe 10 years ago, I met Cameron and had a brief conversation with him about his dog. In that short time, he left an impression on me. I went home and told my wife about an amazing young man that I met.

Whenever I brought food writers to experience Smokin D's, Cameron always made the food story telling colorful and very tasty. Incredible energy and always a great interview.

Cameron was one of the first friends I made when I moved to St Augustine back in 2013. So many good memories and fun times, one of my favorites was when he took me on a trip with him to restaurant depot in Jax for meats for the shop. He pushed me around the store on the cart lol it was always a good time with Cam! He made everything fun, loved life and lived it to the fullest. To call Cam a friend was truly a privilege and I'll always be grateful for that. He loved his family, friends and community. Cameron was a legend with a heart of gold, wise beyond his years and will be missed by many ❤️ My condolences to his family and especially daddy Daryl, whom was truly Cams best friend.
