He was full of energy. In middle school he always kept me on my toes. He was a blast to teach. He always had some memory to share when I stopped and got Barbecue. So sad. Hugs to all who had the joy to experience his spunk.

Everytime I got to hang out with Cameron was an inspriation. He'd always stop on the beach and chat with me about life, girls, BBQ and ebikes. I loved the fact that he was true to himself and never acted like he was someone else.  That is a very RARE quality you don't find in people everyday!

I miss our conversations we had at the oyster roast or outside at hurricanes when we just stepped away from the group and had a heart to heart about life, realtionships, substance abuse, recovery, business and most importantly a full life of happiness.

He was such a kind person. I envyed his true dedication to his family and Smokin D's BBQ. Getting up super early, working late hours was the norm. He did it not for him, but for the people around him.

I know I can do better Cameron and you inspire me to do more.

Love you brother,

Chris McArthur

I am sorry I can't attend as I am in Texas but Cameron Perritt was a friend of mine and had a heart of gold, always had a smile when I dropped in at Smokin D's and he knew how to do a brisket right!! I will miss him and send my love and condolences to his family and friends.

Cameron brought joy to every person he met and had a unique ability to make everyone feel like family, wether you knew him for 10 minutes, or 10 years. I am so very lucky to have called him my friend. I will keep your family in my prayers.
While we have only been  neighbors for almost 2 years, you have been very sweet and caring. We have looked out for each other. Finn will miss his daddy! We will watch over him with food and back/belly rubs :)

We met Cameron in 2013 at the 206 Smokin D’s. He was ALWAYS sweet, kind, smiling, laughing, and shared a glowing personality with the world. His heart and soul ran deep and he shared that with everyone. That place became my FAVORITE BBQ to eat. We brought all our family, friends, and out of guests to try it! He was there almost all the time, and we celebrated when his downtown place opened- he was so proud. We will forever remember those beautiful blue piercing eyes to match his infectious smile. He will be sorely missed in our community. What a significant loss to our world. People like him are a rare find. We wear our Smokin D shirts today in remembrance of his life lost way too soon. Prayers and love to his family.

So sorry for your loss.

He was a kind, caring, all around good soul. I haven't known him long but when I started working with him at Smokin D's I didn't know much about the BBQ restaurant.  I have to say he was by far the best trainer ever.  He answered all my crazy questions lol, and had more patience than I've ever seen.  He loved everything about his business and was so passionate with everything he did there.  No matter how bad your day was going he always put a smile on your face. You couldn't be in a bad mood around him it was impossible.  Loved that about him.  He will be missed.  But never forgotten.  I wish I could have gotten to know him better but I'm glad I got to know him for the short time I did.

Cameron was the best son friend brother..he always thought of others first. I am his mommy brought that beautiful soul into this world and got see him go home with Jesus  ... many will be there to greet him bc he was loved soooo much... didn't belong to us but so grateful let us have him a little while  but God had different things for him in paradise ...he will be missed until we meet again love Daryl Beth summer susan  buddy

I am so sorry. My heart is breaking for you. Cameron had that smile, that smile that just made you light up. He was so sweet and respectful. I'll be praying for God to help you get thru the coming days.
