Callie Virginia Miller Tharpe was born November 1, 1951, to the late Gussie Miller Dunn and Van Huston in Laurens County, Georgia. She was educated in the Bibb County School System and graduated from Ballard Hudson High School. She later studied Cosmetology at Macon Vocational School.
She worked as a hairdresser, a nursing assistant, and was employed for many years at Riley’s Pick and Pay. She was also an ordained Evangelist and was known to …
