2010, Mt. Vernon Christmas

This is heartbreaking to hear that Caleb has passed. We were teenage friends from the Avenue and have often checked in through the years. The world feels a bit off balance. Sending love to all who loved this wonderful guy.

Caleb was one of my very best friends when we were kids. We explored everything within 3 miles of where we lived, which often included venturing into the woods. We caught spiders, snakes, snapping turtles, and messed with bees and got stung. We slid down snow hills onto an icy pond, then slid almost all the way across the pond. We skated, went cross country skiing, snorkeled all the way around a lake, went down a really rough stream on an inflatable raft, made forts, pretty much any fun you could find - we found it. Although we lost touch as we got older, I always carried him and his wonderful family in my heart. I was heartbroken to hear about his passing. Caleb was truly one-of-a-kind, and I will forever cherish the wonderful childhood we shared.

Caleb was always a welcoming friend who never judged. He was supportive and always excited to experience the uniqueness of life. Many antics as kids growing up that still bring a smile. Talented, funny as hell, and truly kind.
Caleb, you are a STAR.

Caleb you were the merry prankster that made us split our sides laughing at the dinner table growing up. You were always a voice of reason and so good natured and helpful. I expected you to be there the rest of my life and I just can not believe you are gone. So many good memories of you lad. And I like to think that you are reunited with Dad and Danny, all fishing together.
