This is just a small example of what an amazing person Brittney was, and it will always mean a lot to me:

When my favorite cat in the world passed away suddenly back in late 2017, the first person I called was Brittney. She was there for me and didn't try to fix it or spout out the normal things you say to someone during a time like this - all she did was stay on the phone and cry with me. That was all I needed. Then months later, I received a sympathy card from my old job where I used to bring my cat to for her care (I am a vet tech), but I had never told them that she passed. I remember I asked my sister, but she never admitted it; however, those of you who knew Brittney knows that she was always a bad liar. I was only living with her at the time and knew she was the one who called even though she would never say it. Years later, I started working there again and seen a note in my chart that said a family member had called to tell them of her passing.

I always knew it was Brittney who told my job. I know she did it because I received a reminder post card in the mail that Booboo was due for a visit and I broke down. I think her seeing me that upset again months after it happened is why she called. It's nothing super significant, but it mattered to me. That little act of kindness so I would not have to keep reliving the pain meant more to me than I could ever explain. Again, this is just a small example of the loving, kind and thoughtful person she was. She was always looking out for me and I'll never forget that.

I am truly sorry for the loss of Brittney 💔 Growing up just a few houses away was a blessing,  Watching her grow and thrive into an amazing and beautiful woman! Strong is an understatement, even though her life was far too short, she achieved and accomplished more than most people I know!! Her smile and positive attitude radiated through her and affected everyone she knew. Wish as we grew older, we would have been more connected but I can honestly say watching from afar she was just a literal angel and blessing to us all! May you rest easy sweetheart & guide, Watch and protect your sweet baby girl, your hubby and friend and family who loved you dearly! Sending all my love & prayers to you all!

I was heartbroken I heard the news of Brittney's passing. I had hoped and prayed she pulled through.
