I was so sorry to hear about your loss. Please know my thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. Wishing you strength and comfort in the days ahead.

I will never forget how I could always convince you that you needed an afternoon coffee with me. Or trying to play music trivia while working  I’d say ohh I know this  you’d go but do you?!?  Haha 9 times out of ten I didn’t  🤣

You were the best with the biggest heart. You will be missed ❤️

Alex, my sincerest condolences to you and your family! Brittney was a beautiful woman inside and out! I am honored to have been part of her care! XOXO to Evie! All the best!

Melissa

I was deeply saddened to hear of Brittney’s passing. I will always remember her as such a bright light during our high school years—someone whose kindness, warmth, and spirit left a lasting impression on everyone around her.

One of my favorite memories with Brittney was starring alongside her in our very first high school production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She brought so much joy, laughter, and energy to rehearsals—always making even the most nervous among us feel comfortable and confident on stage.

Another memory that I hold close to my heart was the summer evening she invited me to her backyard get-together. I can still recall how welcoming and genuine she was, making everyone feel included and valued. I wish I could find the photos from that night, but the memory itself is one that has never faded.

I’ll also never forget Brittney’s powerful presence during her student government campaign and the inspiring words she shared during our Class of 2007 commencement. She carried herself with grace and confidence, always speaking from the heart and encouraging others to do the same.

Brittney was a light—bright, encouraging, and inspiring in every sense of the word. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched in her beautiful way. I have no doubt she’s in a brighter place now, watching over us all with that same radiant smile that made her so unforgettable.

This will be hard to do without writing a book... so many... I would tell the story about our school trip to D.C., but maybe something left for in person, ask me some time lol.

Otherwise, what I will always remember, was working a long day... coming home to Daddy Daddy Daddy, from both Britt and Taylor. We would have dinner and then it was gaming hour, which usually turned into 2... sometimes 3... we would play Final Fantasy (enter the number) 4, 5, 6,7(taylor), 8, 9, 10... 11!! Legend of Dragoon, Parasite Eve, Fatal Frame, Resident Evil 1.2.3.4 etc... yeah I still forgot the fire extinguisher...

So much fun...

Then there was always, tickle time!! Yeah, I loved it!! Britt, um yeah she liked it too :P

In her older years, I will always remember. I loved The Universe (Science Channel show) and Britt would come home after a long day at school and then working at Rite Aid and she would always, and I mean ALWAYS, every Wednesday night, sit and watch it with me at 10pm... she would ask questions and eventually pass out from exhaustion, but she made an effort to spend that time with me. What teenager/20 year old wants or tries to spend time with their parents, she did...

She was and always will be, my Brittney, aka Dorkie. I know she made me proud, I can't even stress how proud... A father could never ask for a better daughter... but somehow I was blessed with two others. I know I may not be the best Dad, but they all make me look good!

If you knew Britt, she was a fairytale girl, she lived it. How many people can say they accomplished what they wanted in life. She wanted to get married to her prince charming, have a daughter named Evie, be a pharmacist and see the world... she did that, all of it, in 36 years... all parents want their kids to eclipse what they did or accomplished in life, well Britt, you did it, in record time!

Till we meet again, save a spot for me next to the PS3/4/5/6/7 etc lol
