The first time I met Brian, was a new employee orientation with DFS/Ganis in the Newport Beach office. He immediately showed me his monitor where he had a web page devoted to his beloved little Schaffer dog. I knew right away this was a very caring, fun loving and witty soul. You were the coolest and most positive person I ever had the pleasure to know. You touched a lot of hearts Brian. Rest in God's grace.

How do you capture thoughts of such a fine man in this small box? Brian leaves a hole in our hearts, but that pain is eased by the endearing and fun memories we treasure. For all the spiff clothes (especially the socks!) he was quick to revert to prankster… He was the king of relationships and he always let each of us know we were special to him. Perhaps that was his greatest gift - connecting with each of us as only he knew how. He still connects us in our shared love for this wonderful man.
Jeannie: you chose well and that love will sustain you. We are also here for you.
McDonell Family: you raised the finest of men. Thank you for sharing him.
Brian: we know you will be at the head of the line to welcome us into heaven. Until we meet again dear friend…

I knew Brian when we were children in Winter Park; he was my best friend's brother. Even though I haven't seen Brian in 50 years, I feel like I have lost a member of the family. My heart goes out to his wife and children, his sister Mary, and her whole family.
Love and hugs, Lexa

I was so sorry to hear about Brian’s sudden passing and I want to extend my heartfelt condolences to you and his family. Brian and I worked together for many years at Synchrony and I will always remember our many evenings eating dinner at the Stamford Marriott. Another great memory is sharing our love of wine and when he took his personal time to be a gracious host and show me the California he loved. Rest in peace Brian and you will be missed!

So sorry to hear this. I remember when Kerrie and I were first dating…all the night fun and frivolity at trovare! And who could forget shabu-Shabu at kitiyama!! He will be missed

I was shocked when I heard the news of Brian's passing. Brian was the consummate professional and the perfect gentlemen and always had a positive view despite challenges we faced at work, which helped our team keep our focus on solutions. Brian will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Jeannie and his family and friends as we mourn his passing but never forget Brian.
