Background
Coastal Vista View Park in Newport Coast, California, is a park near and dear to Brian and Jeannie McDonell. This park was developed and built by the Newport Coast Master Association during Brian's tenure as a Board of Director. It was a passion project of his that he saw to fruition while serving the community. It was also the site of his wedding. The donations will help to purchase a bench, lay the foundation to install the bench, create a memorial plaque, and pay for its maintenance over time. It will also be a place where his neighbors, family, and friends can visit to celebrate his life.
In addition to funding this bench, donations will be made to a local pet organization, No Stray Left Behind. Brian and Jeannie were passionate about pets and would like to honor his memory with donations to an organization making a strong local impact. Finally, any excess raised will help with any unexpected costs.
