I am shocked and saddened to have just learned about Brian's passing in 2021.  Brian and Jeannie were regular attendees of my Spinning classes at the Jewish Community Center of Orange County, and we shared a kinship that was very special to me.  I am so honored to have gotten to know Brian as a quality individual with an uplifting spirit.  Please accept my belated condolences and best wishes to Jeannie and her extended family.
Dear McDonell Family. My sincerest condolences for your loss. Loosing a loved one is never easy. During such a difficult time it may be hard to find comfort but I would like to share with you a beautiful promise that God makes to mankind. Acts 24:15 tells us there is a beautiful hope which men can look forward to, it says “there is going to be a resurrection.” May this promise that will soon be fulfilled give you comfort and endurance till the day you can see Brian again.

You are a rare gem Jeannie and I'm so blessed to know you. What a wonderful way to preserve Brian's memory.
Jeannie, My deepest sympathies to you and your family.
Your true love story is beautiful to all who know you. I’m keeping you in my thoughts
Always in my heart always in my memory. Jeannie so sorry for your loss
Jeannie - I'm so sorry to hear about your beloved husband.  I hope you find peace and comfort in the memories of him.  My heart goes out to you during this very difficult time.
Jeannie.  I'm so sorry for your loss.
I’m so sorry to hear of this news.  Forever will miss his voice saying Passeroni !! And all his kindness shared.  My ❤️ to his loved ones and may you RIP dear friend.
Brian was a best friend for close to 20 years. I keep thinking I will wake up to find it was just a horrible dream.

It was when he connected with Jeannie that I could tell he felt truly completed. And he told that me that often.

I will never cook, shop, dress or drink the same because of my wonderful connection with Brian. Nor will they seem the same to me going forward.

From my FB Post...

I thank god for the ritual “I love you man” we started saying to each other some years back, every time we said good night. That was the last thing I said to him after dinner Wednesday before last. I so hope he heard it.

Brian my dear friend - While I miss you already, I find that you are still with me when I pick out my clothes to get dressed (would you approve), when I make dinner (am I doing it right), when I make a drink (I wish i were making 2). I know you are with me. I love you man!
Dear Jeannie & extended family of Brian: My heartfelt condolences to you all - words will not fill the void left behind by Brian. I am still in shock - I am just a work colleague. Saying a prayer of comfor for everyone of you as you grieve his loss.-- Jessie
We are so sorry for your loss, Jeannie. Sending you strength and prayers during this difficult time.

My heartfelt condolences to Brian's wife and family.  Brian was a friend and colleague at Wells Fargo  and his kindness, friendship, intelligence and sharp wit made every day better with him in it.   Brian would often share stories of loved ones, friends, travel, golf, cooking, fabulous wines and a life well lived.  Brian had a way of connecting with everyone and bringing a calm perspective to any topic.  His positivity (toward everything and everyone) will have a lasting impact on us all.

You are in our thoughts and prayers.

To Brian's Family, I send you all my condolences and much love. I worked with Brian at his former firm. He was more than a colleague; he was like a big brother and mentor.  He exemplified integrity in everything he was involved in and always with such a brilliant sense of humor and wholesome pranks that made challenging times hilariously bearable.  He taught me to speak up for myself and to not be discouraged in the face of difficulty.  So many of our lives are better for having known Brian. I like to believe he is having an insanely expensive ancient wine of the finest vintage out there, smiling down on us.
I met Brian back in the good ole Ganis days before all the mergers and acquisitions. We were like family about 60 of us. Brian always had a open door and I was blessed to have lots of good conversations with him over the years. Southern. Dapper, Funny and talented. I didn’t have much and I admired a fine watch he had(- Tag) he said take it and wear it all you want! Generous and hardworking. To his precious wife Jeanne - I’m so sorry for the loss of your sweet husband , Ive been thinking and praying for you and his family. May his memory be a blessing as he was a blessing to so many.
