Brian John Horais passed away peacefully due to health complications on July 6, 2023 in Knoxville, TN. He was 73 years young and he left this earth far too soon. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Cathy; their daughters (and spouses) Beth (Chris), Rebecca (Jeremy); four grandchildren Alva, Nora, Elliott and Oliver; and his brother, Alan.

Update from Sept. 14, 2023

Hello family and friends of Brian Horais,

We would like to be sure we have the final list of attendees my dad's service in Annapolis on 9/25/2023.
Friday, 9/15 is the final day we would like to gather the RSVP list. Please be sure to let us know.

There will be a reception at the Naval Academy Club immediately following the service.

If you are arriving by a privately owned vehicle and do not have a DOD ID (Govt or Ret. Miliary ID) please let us know for you will not require a pass. You will only have to state at Gate 8 that you are attending the Memorial Service for Brian Horais at the Columbarium (which is adjacent to Gate 8). You cannot enter Gate 1 without a qualified ID only gate 8.
