2022, Brett's Home in New Jersey
The Thompson's hosted my wife and I at their New Jersey home. During daytime outings and evening chats Brett revealed has amazing cordiality and insight.  I was uplifted by his faith-based foundation and his commitment to his family and church. I left leaving with the feeling that this was a special individual unique among men.  So grateful to have known him, golfed with him,  dined with him, and to have been inspired by his approach to life.
Loving thoughts to my dear friend BJ,  Brett's mom.  RIP Brett 🙏

Brett did home PT with my husband following my husband's stroke and home PT with me after my shoulder replacement. He was a special guy. He as always upbeat and cheerful and concerned about our well being, even doing little things around the house to help us out. He was always kind and considerate. We were sorry when he left to move to New Jersey to be close to his family but happy for him. We are so sorry to hear of his passing.
I am sorry for your loss ! I remember Brett taking me under his wing when I was a teenager living with my mom in West Valley.  You were an amazing person . Up in heaven with my Mom now too! God Bless you Bev!
Brett was always a sweet boy. I loved everything about him. His gentle voice, warm words, humor, helpful and kind style made him one of a kind. No one was ready for this loss. Sending our love,
Aunt Joy and Uncle Steven

My God, Bev. What a shock! I am so sorry you have to go through this! I'm sorry for your whole family. Brett was such an amazing person. I was grateful for your friendship and all the help you gave me. May the Lord bless your grief that it be bittersweet.
Alex, I’m sorry to hear of the passing of your father. My sincere condolences for the wonderful man that raised you. May God send peace and comfort in this time for you and your family.
I'm so so sad for the Thompsons at this time.  Brett was the kindest person I ever met. He served as an example of a great human being and made me want to be a better person.  That is the best gift I could have in my life. Praying for Beverly and their children.🙏❤
Brett was such a light, and I left our few interactions together feeling more hopeful. What a beautiful gift that is ❤️
I was shocked and heartbroken to hear of Brett‘s passing this past weekend. He is one of the best people I’ve ever known.   When I join the church and started in a new ward, he was the first person to shake my hand and befriend me. I will never forget that.  In the 14 years that I was around him on a weekly basis I never heard him say a terse word to another person or talk badly about anybody.  He was a great example to me on a daily basis. A true servant to the Lord. Most sincere condolences from the Montgomery family to the Thompson family. We pray for your comfort and peace.
We are so very sorry for your loss. May his memory be a blessing.

Oh Bev, I am heartbroken for you and sending love and prayers and comfort your way.  You two have such a sweet relationship and I can’t imagine how hard this is. Love you my friend,

Donna (and Dwight)

I was so so so sad to hear about Brett’s passing. He has always been such a kind uncle to me. I remember the thanksgiving I spent with the Thompson’s when my family was out of town. He was always so kind asking me about my school and shows. I just remember him always having this calm and personable feeling when we would talk. I always felt he was a supportive dad to my cousins. When I reflected on our last conversations I recall him being so excited and kind as he came to meet my new husband at our wedding. I always left feeling better after a conversation with him. I send my heartfelt condolences to his family, he will be missed terribly.

Micah & I are heartbroken to hear of this news. As our bishop and friend, Brett & your family changed our lives. Truly helped us through our most difficult times. Bev & kids, we are here for you and love you all so much!
