Bren…..it’s been 3 years as of today that you left us. I miss you big time! Nathan is now 14 and just started high school! I ask myself often: What would Brenda do…? And that helps……. I can tell even Bella, our pup, misses you! ❤️❤️❤️

I knew Brenda from her youth (early 20s). I was about 40 and yet in her wisdom and compassion she seemed older than everyone else in our gang of do-gooders. They say the good die young. In Brenda I knew a good person who loved others. She felt our pain and joy, even those of us who did not deserve her attention. Brenda did good works without calling attention to herself, yet her good works inspired good works from others, even from me. I am shocked that she is no longer with us, yet she is with us. The life she led will echo to the end of the world and she will be our companion in Eternity. Brenda completed her purpose in being here, so for Brenda, school was out early. I am still in class at age 81 and looking forward to “the bell,” and I know Brenda will be there to greet me and show the way to the party. I will remember you forever, Brenda, and I will always love you.

Any kind of art, calligraphy, poetry, handmade pottery ♥️
Anytime I hear or read the words “California,” “LA” or “the east coast”
The month of October
Reading or hearing people talk about equality
Six Flags theme park, because one of the two times I’ve been there was with her in California 🥰
Thinking of my daughter, Stevie, being the oldest sibling to all of her little brothers like Aunt Brenda 🥲

I adored Brenda. I knew her first as a brilliant Humanities student and later as a lovely friend. Her joy and kindness were ever present. Each day was a canvas for Brenda and she created her own glorious art within that vista. I am richer for having known her and I carry her legacy within me. Tricia Cherin

We miss you Bren … even knowing you’re as close as a whisper, a thought, a tug of the heart… it’s not the same as a hug & hearing your inimitable laugh again… thank goodness for tactile memories!! Happy birthday up yonder, girl!! 😘❤️😇🥰
