Dear Family and Friends,

One year ago today, August 24, 2022, Brenda left her physical body and now, no longer encumbered by physical constraints, I believe she can be wherever we are.

Always true to her artist’s soul she made beautiful everyone and everything she touched.

Sustained by her deep, abiding faith and love of family, we were each made better for having known her.

And Bren, I can truthfully say that I have missed you every one of these 365 days. (Your family still needs your input.)

Brenda Kay Knepper was born October 3, 1954 at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. At home with her spouse, Maureen, and son, Alex, Brenda’s ovarian cancer journey ended on August 24, 2022 in Long Beach, California.

Brenda was the daughter of Beverly Wilbur Knepper and his wife, Florence Darlene Seyler. Her father’s Air Force career provided a well-travelled childhood, living in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Germany, North Dakota and settling in Virginia for her early adult …
