I met Brandy in August for 2013.  Because of both Brandy and Rashad I met the love of my life 2 days later.  So you could say I owe Brandy a lot and I had no idea in 2013 she would become a pivotal person in my life.

I told Brandy on more than one occasion that she was an answered prayer. I prayed,even begged Jehovah multiple times to please send me a true friend and Jehovah answered my Prayer by giving me such a beautiful friendship with Brandy.

Brandy and I had many similarities that most others we knew didn’t share. Brandy and  I had sims4 video game dates where we would sit in silence with our laptops and play our sims game for hours. Or she would come over and we’d just take a nap. The quote from R. Arnold “ So, if you are too tired to speak, sit next to me,because I,too,am fluent in silence” was a common theme in our friendship. 
We would spend time together talking about the mundane, the deep things, our spiritual goals and anything else under the sun. My love for Brandy was unwavering; I wanted nothing from her but her friendship and she mine. 
I remember her calling me crying happy tears when I had randomly sent her a bouquet of roses because she had been on my heart and I wanted her to know she was loved. And she wept saying it was the first time in her life she had ever received flowers. 
Brandy was one of my best friends and this loss is one of the hardest I have had to bear but “The comfort of having a friend may have been taken away, but not that of having had one.”

I will miss her daily and am so thankful for Jehovah’s promise of the resurrection so that this is not a good bye but a see you later.

Sending our love and condolences to your family during this time. Brandy was an incredible sister and friend. Her smile and joy was so encouraging and such a pleasure to see. I appreciate Brandy’s kindness, self sacrificing and supportive personality over the years. When I told Brandy my daughter was getting baptized on zoom, she was there to celebrate the special occasion and it meant a lot to us to have her support even though we had to be socially distant.
