Brandy Shantel Jones was born April 23, 1979 in Oakland, California to Steven and Sabina Jones. She was one of two children along with her brother, LaMar Rashad Jones. She was the first in her family to attend high school on a college campus and was well known for her quick wit and love for technology, which she developed at a very young age. Even at five years old, she was helping teachers with computers. …
