Memories are powerful for staying in our hearts and minds forever. The good ones put a smile on our face and take us back to times we can enjoy and share.
When I lived with Linda and Steve, and Di and Brandon for 7 months in 2018 -19, Brandon and I spent time sharing things while others worked. He was kind, helpful, gracious, attentive, a good listener, smart, and so loving to Di and family that it is beyond words to describe. We are all fortunate to have had Brandon in our lives.
He showed his appreciation gratefully for things done for him and always with his incredible smile. He was kind in his gestures and gave back to others in sweet ways like surprising me and Quito with an afternoon cup of coffee or helping to solve phone or computer issues. I loved discussing tv series with him and seeing his excitement when we both agreed having similar reactions. He never hesitated to help when I called from San Diego with a question. I loved getting his pictures and videos of Chelsea, Di, and Sophie the cat with one in particular of him repeating to Chelsea ..".Wave to Aunt Kadee, Wave to Aunt Kadee" and then giggling with such enthusiasm after she waved! I had such fun listening to him and hearing the excitement and pride in his voice.
Brandon and Di were fortunate to love each other so deeply to create their loving Chelsea. Chelsea's unforgettable dad is in our family's hearts and will live in our memories to share. Aunt Kadee

Brandon had the biggest heart, it was evident throughout his life and in his interactions with others. He was calm, funny and loved being around his family. He became a good friend to Brian & I and we frequently chatted throughout the week. We shared so many memories and special trips together. We loved our trips to Reno, Lake Tahoe, Alabama and all the trips he & Diana made to Fresno. His love for coffee, trying new foods, photography, kitchen appliances, cars and soccer ran deep. What I remember about Brandon is that no matter what you were talking to him about he always listened, showed interest and offered kindness & advice. He loved all his nephews and niece and would always greet them with a hug. He would spend time talking to them about their interests and playing with them. Emma and Lucas specifically would drop what they were doing when they saw that their “Bubba” had arrived at Grandma’s house. And then on the drive home they’d say how much they missed Nina & Bubba. He made such an impact on our family’s hearts by the way he led his life with grace (despite the personal health struggles he faced) and by the kindness he showed us. His love for Diana and Chelsea was obvious. He cared so much for his family and I know he always wanted to be a father. Chelsea you are blessed because your Daddy lives in your heart and I know as you grow up some of the qualities we loved about him we will begin to see in you. As I think back on the memories we shared and our friendship with Brandon he will truly be missed, but I am so grateful that God placed him in our lives.
